On Friday 8th March, as part of International Women’s Day 2024, Chris Dade, our Support Services Manager, Elisabeth Silver, our CEO, Anne (WHAG) and Alex (Cambridge Solidarity Hub) were invited to address staff at Mills & Reeve’s Cambridge office about the many barriers facing women experiencing homelessness.

Mills & Reeve placed a ‘giving tree’ in their reception area and staff were invited to take a tag if they wanted to support our work, including the new Haven project to provide a safe space for vulnerable women at night.

Over the weekend Abigail Smith and Claire O’Reilly delivered gifts of socks, underwear, toiletries, slippers, towels, raincoats, mattress protectors, clothes driers, hot water bottles, sweets, snacks and Easter eggs to Crossways.

We thank all at Mills & Reeve for their generosity.
